Results for Grove Place from WEF!

The long quiet winter has come to an end at Grove Place, as Steve and India return home from Florida and another successful season at WEF!! Everyone seems to have had a great time this year, as usual, despite the unusually cold weather they had!! We, who stayed home and were REALLY cold, are glad to have them back!

Steve and India's Argentinian stallion, Caribe, made a very successfull debut in the 1.40 division with Steve, winning multiple ribbons in the International Ring.  It was great preparation for this young stallion who will be doing the Midwest Grand Prix this summer.

Amanda Metzler was champion on Firecat five weeks in a row in the Children's Jumper division. Amanda and Firecat continued their successful partnership, moving up to the Low Jrs. where they were 2nd in a huge class and consistently clean and fast.

Alex Morefield was 2nd in a Jr. Jumper Speed class and 11th in a Med. Jr. Jumper classic on Sugar Magnolia, going clean over the biggest course yet in her career!

C.J. Cohick was consistently clean and fast on Sugar Magnolia and 2nd in a $10,000.00 Classic.

Dana Hancock kept Sugar going after Alex and C.J.'s respective, and very successful, competition weeks at WEF.

Maggie Knapke's Frank Sinatra got some great miles in the hunter ring with Steve.

Marshall Reed came down for a weekend and got to show Nifty, courtesy of Competition Farm of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

India successfully showed Kenzo Desfri in the High Amateur division in the International Ring.

Again this year, the Florida show experience was invaluable for all, both horses and riders!
